Elderly woman killed in head-on collision on Telegraph Road
A tragic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Severn, resulting in the passing of a 75-year-old woman from Gambrills. The woman, identified as Linda Catherine Mierzeski, was driving north on Telegraph Road when her vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a car that was turning south onto Telegraph Road from the westbound ramp of Maryland Route 100, according to Anne Arundel County police. Unfortunately, Mierzeski lost her life at the scene of the accident, while the other driver was transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore and is reported to be in stable condition. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
