
Eastbound I-4 lanes closed near SR-528 in Orange County due to crash
Traffic officials reported that a collision blocked all eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 in Orange County on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. near mile marker 72, just west of the State Road 528 interchange. Information about injuries and the number of vehicles involved was limited at the time. Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson Migdalisis Garcia mentioned that it may involve two distinct crashes, with preliminary reports indicating five individuals taken to nearby hospitals. One of the vehicles was a semi-truck that overturned. As of 4:50 p.m., all lanes remained closed, and eastbound traffic was redirected to State Road 528.
