Driver stuck in car after accident near Watervliet.
Speed is believed to have played a role in a crash in Watervliet Township that left a driver trapped in their vehicle, according to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on Dwight Boyer Road near M-140 on Sunday afternoon. Emergency services had to extract the unconscious driver from the vehicle before transporting them to the hospital in critical condition. Three other individuals involved sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. The sheriff’s office Accident Investigation Unit is looking into the cause of the crash.
