Driver reportedly ran red light in deadly Mountain View Corridor collision
A tragic incident occurred in West Valley City when a 34-year-old man lost his life in a collision on the Mountain View Corridor. The accident took place when another vehicle, driven by a 19-year-old, disregarded a red light and collided with the man's vehicle. Despite efforts from emergency crews, Joshua Thomas, the driver of the black Trans Am, succumbed to his injuries while being transported to a nearby hospital. The 19-year-old driver did not display any signs of impairment, and authorities have not made any arrests or charges yet as they continue to investigate the crash.
