Driver killed in fiery crash on I-93 in Ashland, per state police

A driver was killed in a tragic incident where their vehicle veered off the road, crashed, and caught fire on Sunday, according to New Hampshire State Police. The vehicle was discovered fully engulfed in flames near Exit 24 on Interstate 93 after a report came in around 2:45 a.m. Investigations are ongoing regarding the circumstances that led to the crash. Sadly, the driver was found deceased at the scene with no other individuals in the car. The identity of the driver has not yet been disclosed. Authorities are urging anyone who may have information on the incident to reach out to Trooper Jawara Conde. This unfortunate event in Ashland marks the fourth fatal crash in New Hampshire that week, following incidents in Manchester, Francestown, and Sanbornton, totaling six fatalities.
