Driver involved in deadly Terre Haute crash to appear in court

A woman accused of driving drunk, picking up four unknown juveniles, and causing a fatal crash that resulted in the deaths of two of them will have a final pretrial hearing on Tuesday. Misty Casey was arrested in June after a collision at an intersection in Terre Haute where her SUV collided with a truck after she ran a stop sign. Witnesses reported seeing Casey driving recklessly and speeding, with some even seeing passengers hanging out of the windows before the crash. The crash led to the deaths of two juveniles. Casey faces multiple serious charges, including driving under the influence and causing death and injury as a result of neglect. She is scheduled to appear in court for the final pretrial hearing on November 18, 2025, and her trial date is set for December 2, 2025.
