Driver injured in cattle truck rollover accident in Harvey County

A serious accident unfolded on Thursday in Harvey County, Kansas, when a semi-truck carrying cattle overturned and caught fire near the interchange of U.S. Highway 50 and Interstate 135. The driver, identified as a man from Iowa in his thirties, sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a hospital in Wichita. Tragically, a number of cattle in the trailer were also harmed or perished in the incident. Emergency crews were on the scene in the afternoon working to corral escaped livestock, while authorities informed that southbound lanes of I-135 in the vicinity will be shut down throughout the night.
