Driver in fatal I-69 crash at 100 mph agrees to plea bargain

A video has emerged showing the immediate aftermath of a tragic crash in Allen County, Indiana. A young woman, Jourdan Hudson, faces the possibility of having her prison sentence reduced by half after pleading guilty to various charges related to a high-speed collision on Interstate 69 last year. The incident resulted in the deaths of her sister and a child. Court documents reveal that Hudson admitted to neglect of a dependent and operating a vehicle causing death. The crash occurred on November 23, 2024, when Hudson's speeding SUV crashed into a guardrail on I-69, ejecting two children and her sister, who sadly did not survive. The victims were identified as Nalani Ella Ervins, 6, and Jaiden Samaria Marquis Newbolt, 25. Hudson faces a potential 31-year prison sentence, with 30 years suspended, for the offenses to which she pleaded guilty. Hudson is set to be sentenced on October 6, pending the judge's decision on the plea deal.
