According to a statement from the Fairfax County Police Department, the incident occurred in the vicinity of the 3400 block of Carlin Springs Rd., near Bailey's Crossroads. The crash involved a single car, and the male driver has been transported to the hospital with critical injuries. As a result, Carlin Springs Road is currently closed in both directions for the ongoing investigation.
