Driver faces DUI charge following fatal crash on Battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake
A tragic incident occurred in Chesapeake on Tuesday night, resulting in the passing of a woman due to a collision. Police responded to a serious motor vehicle crash at Battlefield Boulevard and Volvo Parkway around 10 p.m. The crash involved a Pontiac SUV attempting a U-turn from the left turn lane and being struck by a Jeep SUV traveling in the opposite direction. The rear seat passenger of the Pontiac, identified as 46-year-old Ali Renee Harrison from Norfolk, was transported to the hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The Pontiac driver, Travis Bulloch, aged 38, has been arrested on two DUI-related charges, marking his third offense within a decade. Further charges may be brought as the investigation progresses.
