Driver arrested after crash leads to pedestrian's death in northeast Las Vegas valley
In northeast Las Vegas valley, a tragic incident has resulted in the death of a 34-year-old man. A driver, Parker Carreras, 21, has been detained and charged with reckless driving causing death. The collision occurred on Thursday evening around 6:30 p.m. on North Nellis Boulevard near Stewart Avenue. The driver was allegedly speeding when he hit the pedestrian, who was not using a designated crosswalk. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
