Driver accused of driving under influence in fatal motorcycle collision on I-385, according to authorities
A 22-year-old man has been charged with felony DUI following a fatal crash involving a motorcycle on Interstate 385. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon at I-385 and North Pleasantburg Drive, resulting in the death of Tony Ray Lindsey, 46, and severe injuries to a female passenger. The driver of the truck, Andrew McDowell, was arrested and faces charges of felony DUI resulting in death, felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury, and possession of cocaine-first offense. McDowell is currently in custody at the Greenville County Detention Center, according to Greenville police.
