Detroit man hurt in accident at M-10 and Wyoming Street

A severe accident occurred in Metro Detroit involving two vehicles, according to the Michigan State Police. The incident took place late Thursday night at an interchange on the M-10 (Lodge Freeway) and Wyoming Street. The driver of a Kia, a 36-year-old man from Detroit, was speeding on the ramp, causing the vehicle to break through the freeway barrier and overturn onto a Dodge Ram truck. The driver of the Kia was partially ejected and trapped between the two vehicles upon impact. Emergency responders from the Detroit Fire Department were called to rescue the driver from the wreckage. The individual was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Fortunately, the driver of the Dodge Ram was unscathed in the accident.
