Deadly pedestrian accident shuts down one lane on northbound SR-160 in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol attended to a deadly car accident on State Route 160 during the afternoon on Wednesday. The incident involved a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle while walking across the lanes on northbound SR-160 north of Royal Oaks. Sadly, the pedestrian was declared deceased at the site. The driver involved is not currently suspected of driving under the influence, as per CHP. Reports as of 2:15 p.m. indicate that all lanes are now open for traffic.
