Deadly I-25 Crash in Lone Tree as Tire Detaches and Strikes Another Vehicle: Authorities
According to city officials, a tragic accident occurred on Interstate 25 in Lone Tree on Tuesday afternoon, where a driver lost their life after being struck by a loose tire from another vehicle. The incident, which occurred around 3:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes near RidgeGate Parkway, led to lane closures and traffic congestion in the area. The tire from a northbound vehicle hit a southbound vehicle, resulting in the fatal collision. The driver of the vehicle from which the tire detached stopped at the scene, and authorities were present for several hours to manage the situation. As of now, the identity of the deceased individual has not been made public.
