Deadly collision with 8 vehicles in Prince George's County
Maryland State Police have reported that there have been fatalities as a result of a multi-vehicle car crash in Prince George's County. At this point, it has been confirmed that at least two individuals have died following an accident involving eight cars. The victims were both women traveling together in one vehicle. Another driver has been taken to a hospital. The incident occurred on MD-202 NB (Landover Road) at St. Joseph's Drive, leading to the closure of all northbound lanes with traffic being diverted to Lottsford Road. The cause of the crash is currently unknown, with Maryland State Police conducting an ongoing investigation and promising to provide updates as more information becomes available.
