Deadly collision between Jeep and semi in Isanti County, according to authorities
A collision between a Jeep and a semi truck in eastern Minnesota on Monday night resulted in a fatality. The incident took place on Highway 95 at Hornsby Road Northeast in North Branch Township around 9 p.m., as reported by the Minnesota State Patrol. The individual driving the Jeep, a woman whose age was not disclosed, crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with the truck, resulting in the Jeep catching fire upon impact. Though the patrol labeled the crash as fatal, they did not provide details on the deceased. The semi truck driver is a 53-year-old male from Pine River, Minnesota.
