Deadly collision between car and semi on I-41/US 45 in Menomonee Falls, one casualty
A fatal incident occurred on Thursday, Nov. 13, on I-41/US 45 in Menomonee Falls involving a semi-trailer and an SUV. The Menomonee Falls Police Department received reports of a serious vehicle collision just before noon, where the SUV collided with the back of a slowing semi-trailer near the Waukesha County/Milwaukee County line. Unfortunately, the sole occupant of the SUV, a 47-year-old woman, lost her life in the crash. The authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident. While the original incident was cleared by 1 p.m., the southbound lane of the freeway leading to County Line Road in Germantown was shut down by 4 p.m., and traffic was redirected at County Line Road and Lannon Road.
