Deadly Accident Triggers Fire at LAPD Site, 80 Firefighters Arrive

A fatal car accident in Sylmar led to a rapid wildfire at an LAPD training facility near the 5 Freeway on Tuesday afternoon, as confirmed by authorities. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) reported that a Nissan car went off the freeway, rolled down a slope, caught fire, and ignited brush on the LAPD premises. The fire resulted in one fatality from the crash and the subsequent blaze.
