Crashes on New Jersey roads cause injuries and delays.
Emergency officials in South Jersey reported multiple injuries and road closures as a result of separate crashes on Sunday night. In West Deptford Township, a car crash near Red Bank and Hessian avenues left several people critically injured, while in Deptford Township, a collision involving a commercial vehicle and a detached boat trailer caused significant delays on Route 55 northbound. In Camden County, a crash with critical injuries led to delays on I-76 East, with all eastbound lanes closed west of Exit 1B. Additionally, Route 40 in Pleasantville, Atlantic County, was temporarily closed in both directions due to a crash investigation. Gloucester County officials stated that the incidents are not believed to be related.
