Crash in central Phoenix leaves one dead and three injured
A fatal collision occurred in central Phoenix on Sunday morning, resulting in the death of one woman and injuries to three others. The Phoenix Police Department reported that the crash involved three vehicles near 7th Avenue and Thomas Road around 4:30 a.m. Emergency crews worked to extricate occupants from an overturned vehicle and pronounced 21-year-old Trinity Brewer dead at the scene. The injured individuals were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police indicated that the collision was caused by a man who was allegedly speeding and ran a red light, striking Brewer's vehicle. The man, who showed signs of impairment, was hospitalized with serious injuries. Charges are pending following the ongoing investigation.
