Coroner Identifies 16-Year-Old Killed in Pekin Crash
Authorities have identified the teenage girl who tragically lost her life in a collision on Veterans Drive in Pekin, Illinois. The victim, identified as 16-year-old Charlotte Bumbalough from Marquette Heights, was pronounced deceased at the crash site. The incident, involving multiple vehicles including an SUV, a pickup truck, and a motorhome, occurred just before 8 a.m. Tazewell County Coroner Charles Hanley confirmed the fatality in a social media post, with Illinois State Police troopers responding to the scene shortly after. Reports indicate that the SUV collided with the truck and motorhome, resulting in the fatal injuries to Bumbalough who was in the SUV at the time.
