Construction worker killed in Florida crash on I-75 with road painting crew, according to FHP

Early on Saturday morning, a tragic incident occurred on Interstate 75 resulting in the death of a construction worker. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal crash took place at mile marker 149 on I-75 around 2 a.m. when a truck towing a boat trailer collided with road maintenance vehicles. The construction crew was in the process of painting divider lines on the road and right shoulder, accompanied by a Scorpion Road Construction Crash Truck for safety. Sadly, the driver of the Scorpion truck, a 64-year-old individual, lost their life in the accident. Authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
