Companies join forces to aid families after tragic Harford County school bus crash.
Businesses in Harford County are rallying together to show support for the families of Blake Elliot and Zach Griffin, two students from C. Milton Wright High School who were involved in a serious car accident recently. Joe Lancelotta, co-owner of Conrad's Seafood Restaurant in Abingdon, felt compelled to organize a fundraiser as a way to help the families during this difficult time. On Monday, September 29, Conrad's Seafood Restaurant will donate 20 percent of all orders from its various locations to assist both the Elliot and Griffin families. The tragic car crash resulted in Blake's passing and left Zach hospitalized. The local businesses are demonstrating solidarity with the affected families through various initiatives, such as Sweet Frog in Bel Air offering 20 percent of sales on Friday night, The Local in Fallston hosting a fundraiser, and Pappa's locations collecting donations and planning to match part of the contributions. These efforts are aimed at providing the families with support and comfort as they navigate this challenging period. It's a testament to the tight-knit community in Harford County, where residents come together to uplift and assist one another, especially during trying times.
