Collision between semi-truck and car on Highway 59 in Merced County
A semi-truck and a green sedan crashed on Los Banos Highway in the El Nido area of Merced County. The collision, which took place at 5:56 a.m. on September 26th, involved the sedan being struck on its driver's side by a fully loaded semi-truck for reasons that are currently unknown. The truck driver, expressing fear to approach the sedan, called 911 for assistance. Paramedics arrived to aid the injured sedan driver, and a tow truck later removed the heavily damaged vehicle.
