
Chicago female accused of driving under influence in fatal Dan Ryan collision
Over the weekend, in Chicago, a tragic incident occurred on the Dan Ryan Expressway involving a 27-year-old woman named Daja Williams who was driving under the influence. The crash resulted in the death of one of her passengers, 26-year-old DeAir Williams. Daja Williams, along with her other passengers, sustained injuries in the single-car rollover crash on the I-94 northbound exit to 130th Street. She has been charged with felonies including aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol causing death and reckless homicide. Williams is currently in custody awaiting her initial court hearing.
