Champion man dead in Weathersfield single-car crash
WEATHERSFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) -- One man is dead following a single-car crash in Weathersfield Township Saturday morning. It happened on West Park Avenue just before 6 a.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a pickup truck was traveling eastbound when it veered off to the north side of the roadway, striking a utility pole and a bridge foundation. Driver Robert Warner II, 39, of Champion, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
