Car Hits Houston Café, Injures Two Food Bloggers
An SUV crashed into a restaurant in Houston, Texas, while food influencers NinaUnrated and Patrick Blackwood were filming a review, injuring the pair. The incident was captured in a video they posted on Aug. 18, showing the moment at Cuvee’s Culinary Creations and its aftermath. Initially enjoying their food served by chef Ivory Watkins, the crash unexpectedly sent glass and debris toward them. NinaUnrated fell out of the booth, while Blackwood, who was near the window, bore the brunt of the impact, with both sustaining injuries. Watkins mentioned that only a few guests were present at the time, as the driver, part of a private party, accidentally drove into the restaurant, breaking the glass. Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the incident, noting that both influencers were taken to the hospital for treatment. Following the scare, the pair are taking a break from filming to recover. Despite their injuries, they are grateful to be alive. Watkins expressed relief that he wasn’t hurt, while NinaUnrated emphasized the importance of cherishing life and living in the present.
