
Car crashes into building, another vehicle split in two
During the early hours of Wednesday morning, a violent collision occurred on Grosebeck Road near Folchi Drive, resulting in one vehicle crashing into a College Hill apartment building and another vehicle being split in half. The impact of the crash was so severe that a large hole was left in the building, providing a clear view inside. The separated parts of the second vehicle ended up approximately 50 feet away from each other. The crash led to one individual being transported to UC Medical Center, although their condition remains unspecified. Cleanup efforts are still underway, with the presence of building inspectors addressing the damage caused. Duke Energy has also been onsite inspecting a damaged power line. The cause of the crash is currently under investigation, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
