British man accused of causing deadly accident during pursuit in West Deptford, NJ
A man from the United Kingdom has been charged with causing a fatal crash in West Deptford, New Jersey, while reportedly evading the police. Prosecutors have identified the individual as 28-year-old Steve Hall from Waltham Cross, a town in England. The incident occurred on Sunday evening near Red Bank and Hessian avenues in West Deptford. Hall is facing charges of death by auto and other related offenses. The crash took place after Hall allegedly tried to avoid being stopped by the West Deptford police and collided with another vehicle. Tragically, the driver of the other car was killed, and a passenger was injured. Hall and a passenger in his own vehicle were also hurt. An eyewitness reported seeing Hall speeding before the accident. The New Jersey Attorney General's Office and Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office are conducting an investigation into this tragic event.
