Boyle Heights car accident leaves 3 injured, 1 dead, 1 missing
A fatal car accident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Boyle Heights, resulting in the death of one woman and serious injuries to three others. A fifth individual fled the scene and was later arrested by the police. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department found one person trapped in the wreckage following a multi-vehicle crash near 100 N. Chicago St. Paramedics transported one woman in critical condition and two others in serious condition to a regional trauma center, while another individual died at the scene. The arrested suspect was taken to a hospital for injuries sustained in the crash but has not been identified. The LAPD confirmed that the incident is still being investigated.
