Boone County Sheriff's Office has shared updated details about a recent tragic incident involving a military vehicle that resulted in the loss of a member of the Indiana National Guard. The crash occurred on I-65 near Whitestown, leading to the passing of Spc. Terry Frye, with three other guardsmen sustaining severe injuries. The incident involved a military Humvee, a white SUV, and a car hauler truck. The guardsmen were en route from Frankfort Armory to Camp Atterbury for training when the crash happened. Following the accident, the driver of the car hauler was detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
