Authorities looking for witnesses to deadly pedestrian accident in Washington County
Authorities from the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Portland, Oregon are requesting assistance from witnesses regarding a tragic incident involving a pedestrian fatality. The incident occurred on Monday morning when a 73-year-old woman, Muoi Du, was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Northwest Deerfield Way and Northwest West Union Road in the Rockcreek area. Despite efforts to save her, Du succumbed to her injuries three days later. The driver involved in the accident promptly reported the incident along with a bystander. While impairment is not suspected, the circumstances are still being investigated. Any individuals with relevant information are urged to reach out to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
