Alec Baldwin blames 'largest rubbish truck' for car accident in Hamptons
Actor Alec Baldwin reassured his fans that he is doing well after he crashed his wife's Range Rover into a tree in East Hampton, New York. In a video posted on Instagram that same evening, Baldwin addressed the incident and explained that he was involved in a car accident caused by a large garbage truck cutting him off. He described the truck as being enormous and explained that to avoid a collision, he ended up hitting a tree which severely damaged the car. Baldwin expressed regret for the damage to his wife's vehicle but emphasized that everyone involved in the accident, including himself and his brother, is okay. He praised the police officers who helped him at the scene and humorously noted the size of the tree he collided with. TMZ obtained photos of the accident, showing Baldwin and his brother interacting with law enforcement, as well as the extent of the damage to the Range Rover.
