In a video posted on Instagram, Baldwin explained that he was involved in a car accident caused by a large garbage truck that cut him off, leading him to swerve off the road and hit a tree. He mentioned that he and his brother Stephen had been attending the Hamptons International Film Festival over the weekend. Although the car was badly damaged, Baldwin expressed gratitude for the police officers who helped him at the scene. He emphasized that despite the incident, he, his brother, and his wife's car are all fine. Photos of the accident show the front of the white Range Rover crumpled after colliding with the tree.
