Accident on I-10 injures two children in Santa Rosa County

There was a serious car accident in Santa Rosa County, Florida, over the weekend that resulted in two children being injured, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash occurred on Friday evening on westbound I-10 at the mile marker 28 exit ramp. The car veered off the road, hit a tree, and caught fire. A group of people from Tallahassee were in the car, and thanks to a bystander's help, were able to escape. A 4-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy sustained severe injuries, with one of them being airlifted to a hospital in Pensacola. The children are in differing conditions, with one still in critical condition. The other passengers, a 40-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, are all in stable condition.
