The vigil, held in memory of Xxavien Hernandez, who was fatally struck while having a meal with his father, was overshadowed by a different DUI-related incident. A man named Andres Serna, who was allegedly drunk, crashed into the area where Xxavien and his father were, resulting in Xxavien's death the following day. Serna, with a significantly high blood alcohol content, is facing second-degree murder charges. Attendees at the vigil honored Xxavien with pictures and released red and blue balloons to signify his love for Spiderman. Just as the vigil concluded, another driver suspected of DUI hit two vehicles but fortunately, no injuries were reported.
