
63-year-old motorcyclist killed in collision with semi-truck in central Minnesota
A motorcyclist tragically lost their life in a collision with a semi-truck on the morning of Thursday in central Minnesota. The incident occurred at the junction of Highway 28 and Highway 71 near Sauke Centre in Stearns County around 9 a.m. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 32-year-old man from St. Paul was driving the semi-truck east on Highway 28 when a man on a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle was halted at the stop sign on Highway 28 behind a 2011 Chevy Silverado. As the 22-year-old Chevy driver turned north onto Highway 71, the semi struck the motorcycle and then the Chevy, as per the crash report. The state patrol confirmed that the 63-year-old motorcyclist from Glenwood, Minnesota, passed away as a result of the crash. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.
