5 people hurt in side-impact collision following chase finishing in Jamestown
In Jamestown, North Dakota, a crash occurred after a pursuit that began in Kidder County, resulting in injuries to five individuals, three of whom were minors. The incident started when the North Dakota Highway Patrol received reports of a reckless driver on I-94 on a Saturday morning. The driver, an 18-year-old from Bismarck, attempted to evade law enforcement at speeds exceeding 100 mph. The pursuit ended in Jamestown, where the vehicle collided with a GMC Sierra after being located by the Jamestown Police Department. The driver and passengers of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo sustained injuries, as did the 30-year-old driver of the Sierra. The NDHP is investigating the incident, while charges have been filed against the Monte Carlo driver.
