A 41-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle following a tragic crash that resulted in the deaths of two Marquette University students. The incident occurred near 27th and St. Paul in Milwaukee, claiming the lives of 19-year-old Scott Michaud and 20-year-old Noah Snyder, who were members of the Marquette lacrosse team. The driver of the vehicle, Amandria Brunner, was found to have been under the influence with a blood alcohol content level well above the legal limit. She faces a potential 40-year prison sentence and substantial fines if convicted. Brunner's bond has been set at $75,000 after her initial court appearance.
