$30,000 Raised for Family of Daughter Killed in Car Crash
A 12-year-old girl named Allison Lowery tragically lost her life in a car accident in Warrick County this week. Allison was hit by a semi-truck while riding her bike on State Road 66 in Newburgh. The community has come together to support her family during this difficult time. Pastor Stephen Russ of FaithWay Baptist Church set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs, which has already raised over $30,000 in just a few days. Russ remembered Allison as a bright and joyful girl who loved music and art. The GoFundMe will remain active until Allison's Celebration of Life service on September 30th.
