3 killed in fatal Milwaukee crash, now 17-year-old charged

A tragic incident on September 16 at the intersection of 35th and Vliet resulted in the loss of three family members, with 17-year-old Dashauna Egerson facing criminal charges. According to the criminal complaint, Milwaukee police pursued a white SUV driving erratically, ultimately leading to a collision at the aforementioned intersection. Although 19-year-old Trevon Loston was also charged in connection to the pursuit, he was not charged with homicide as authorities believe Egerson was driving at the time of the crash. If convicted on all counts, Egerson could potentially face up to 168 years in prison. The complaint details how officers engaged in a high-speed chase with the vehicle, culminating in the fatal collision. Egerson initially claimed she was a passenger, with Loston driving, but later admitted to being behind the wheel during the incident. She stated she was unaware the vehicle was stolen until police intervened, leading to the pursuit that tragically ended in the crash.
