2 Fullerton CSU soccer players injured in electric scooter accident
Two soccer players from California State University in Fullerton were recently hospitalized after being in a collision with a box truck while riding electric scooters. The incident occurred near the college campus on Sept. 27, as reported by the Fullerton Police Department. The players involved, Lauren Turner and Ashlyn Gwynn, sustained serious injuries but are now making progress in their recovery. Following the accident, the head coach has emphasized the importance of wearing helmets and has committed to providing helmets for players who may not have the means to purchase their own.
