19-year-old dies in Plymouth County crash
A tragic incident occurred in Plymouth County, Iowa over the weekend, as a young woman lost her life in a crash after a pickup truck crossed the center line on C12. The collision involved a farm truck heading east. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Sarah Van Ostrand, 19, from Struble, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, despite wearing a seatbelt. Fortunately, the driver of the farm truck, a Sioux Center man, escaped unharmed. Responding to the scene were the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office and Le Mars Fire Rescue.
