12-year-old girl injured in Kaukauna accident, neighbors assist in rescuing her
In Kaukauna, Wisconsin, a 12-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle while riding an electric scooter on Tuesday afternoon, but is now recovering from her injuries. A local resident, Kurt Islinger, witnessed the incident and shared his account with Local 5's Ellie Davis. The girl had injuries to her arm and shoulder and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Islinger highlighted the potential danger of the situation, emphasizing that while the scooter was damaged, the outcome could have been much worse. The Kaukauna Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
