1 individual transported by helicopter, northbound I-25 shut down just south of Larkspur following 2-car collision
A serious two-vehicle crash occurred just after noon on Saturday on northbound Interstate 25, south of Larkspur, resulting in one person being airlifted to the hospital. The crash involved a silver Honda Accord and GMC Yukon, with one vehicle rolling multiple times. Tragically, a driver involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene, however, it was not specified which vehicle they were driving. Colorado State Patrol has closed northbound I-25 near milepost 165 for investigation, and drivers are advised to use an alternate route.
